The Lost Smile

There goes a smile

Running away

Leaping off her face

Stealing the sparkle

That once so gladly

Lingered in her eyes

But no, there is still

A sparkle left, from the

Wetness of the weeps

Her eyes give out

As she laments

A lost smile, run away with fate

Time goes on

She finds herself

In some shadowed corner

Pulling herself out

Lips curling up

Back into a smile, radiating strength
