There are certain people in life that you come across who give you warmth, comfort and happiness in a way you don’t understand. They’re those you love being around, that you keep close to your heart, and that you know will always be by your side no matter what. For me, my Dadijee is the one that ticks all those boxes!
In her own way, my Dadijee manages to be everything you could want at once. She’s an amazing mother – the amount of love she gives to all of her children is unmeasurable. She’s such a caring wife – she and Dadajee have a truly inseparable bond. And she’s the best grandmother I know – not just to me, but to all of her grandchildren equally! Dadijee has a bond with us that is unbelievable. There is not one day I can remember that we haven’t spoken to each other, whether that be in person or through FaceTime. We’ll share everything with each other – it’s as if we’ve been side by side the whole day! But most importantly, she’s there for us. In person. In spirit. Always. She’s got a presence and a caring soul that can shine on from halfway across the globe and comfort me even in my lowest times – that’s how much love she has for her loved ones! And after all we went through last year, seeing her lose her youngest son and watching her still hold her family together, that’s enough to show the amount of strength this grandmother of mine has! She’s been through so much and done so much for us. Truly, there is no way we all could repay her for everything she has given us – from her generation all the way to mine!
I’m writing this post not just as a post to commemorate Dadijee’s birthday, but also to commemorate her strength, her resilience, her humble character, and her unbreakable love for her family. On her birthday, I pray that Allah rewards her accordingly with abundant happiness and grants every wish she has. I pray that Allah keeps her safe, as she is so dear to so many people. And lastly, I pray that Allah rewards her with a huge castle in Jannatul Firdaus, cos she definitely deserves it!
Happy Birthday Dadijee,
