Books, Glorious Books!

Holidays are the best times for you to READ! Don’t just sit around playing games, spend time with your nose in a phone or watch Netflix day in, day out! Make the most of that free time and get stuck in a good book! And if you’re travelling to spend the holidays someplace away from home, even better! Kill time by reading a book! Whether you’re on a plane, in a car, travelling by bus or cruising in the sea, read! You can read anywhere: in the kitchen, in the garden, at the park, at the beach, or even in the bathroom!

Here’s my latest catch, some of which were bought by Mr Dad (thank you so much!), but most borrowed from my local library. So far, I have managed to read 8 of them, which leaves me with another 9 to go! Stay tuned for my next posts, I’ll be sharing more about the books I’ve read with all of you fellow bookworms!

Pawsome Book Club: Space Shuttle Blasts Off by Peter Bently

Ni Hao pawsome peeps!

This post is going to be book review, yet again! This review is going to be for another children’s book. I thought that it might be useful for parents with bookworms! This post will be featuring Little Miss Diva!!! Now, the book that we have read is called…Space Shuttle Blasts Off by Peter Bently!

IMG_2334.JPG

Me and Little Miss Diva think that the front cover of this book is really cool! A panda in a space ship⁉️ WOW!!!

The main characters in this book are Commander Mandy and Co-Pilot Andy. The crew have to go to space to collect and repair a broken satellite. But who will they meet on the way?

If your child is a boy or a girl and they love books, then they will enjoy every moment of this book. Even if they aren’t bookworms but are into things related to space, they would definitely like to read this! But since this is from Little Miss Diva’s point of view, she says that she wants to rate this book 3 stars! She didn’t like it very much 😦 . I think it’s because she’s still missing Max! But I would say that this book is great! The illustrations are vibrant, the words are easy to read and it is also educational! If you would like to get this book for your child, just ask at your local library today!

I have to stop there pawsome peeps! I need to go now! But remember watch out for the next book review from my Pawsome Book Club!

Pawsome Book Club: Max at Night by Ed Vere

Namaste pawsome peeps! Everything ship-shape?

Once again, I am writing a book review for one of the books from The BFR! Since I have an ADORABLE baby brother and sister, I have decided to review a children’s book this time. I thought that it might be useful for parents that have lil’ bookworms with them! This post is featuring the one and only Little Miss Diva, my 2-year-old baby sister! So, let’s get to it! The book that I have chosen for today is called…Max at Night by Ed Vere!

IMG_2072.JPG

One of the best things about this book is the front cover. A picture of a cute, tiny cat is all it needs to persuade a toddler to read it!

The main character in this book is called Max and it’s way past his bedtime. He is very sleepy! He is ready for bed and he needs to say goodnight to everyone. When it’s Moon’s turn, Max can’t find him! So he goes on a journey to find Moon but he can’t see him anywhere! Does brave little Max give up? NO!!! He keeps on trying until he reaches the top of the highest of high hills where suddenly, Moon coms into sight! XD Now Max can finally go to bed!

Max at Night is a book that Little Miss Diva and I enjoyed reading. She actually picked this book herself! If your child loves books and they’re getting sleepy, this is the book to take out! Little Miss Diva always likes to read this book when it’s her bedtime, and I’m sure your child will too!

Next, I need to rate this book! If I was to give this book 1 to 5 stars, it would definitely be a…5 star book! YAY!!! The amount of joy that this book brought Little Miss Diva really makes it 5 stars! The words in this book are short and easy to understand and the illustrations really explain the situation. Your toddler will fall in love with this book! If you would like to read this book with your child, visit your local library today and ask about it there!

Parting is such sweet sorrow! 😂 Oh well, that’s the end of this post-for now! Remember to keep on the lookout for more book reviews from my Pawsome Book Club!
