Pawsome Crisps: Irresistible Little Bites!

Konichiwa everybody!

Last week, I went to Mr Dad’s shop. We had very special guests from Lithuania eating in at the shop. I decided to help out by serving food and cleaning the tables. Since I was working hard (maybe…), one of the guests gave me my first £5 tip. After I received that tip, I thought to myself “If I put it in my piggybank, it’s going to stay there forever and it won’t grow! So, if I was to use it to build the foundation of my very own business, it would have been used for a good cause!’

After a short period of brainstorming, Mrs Mom and I finally found the perfect thing to do. It was my PawsomePreneur Project, it was…Pawsome Crisps! With a little help from my PAWSOME family, I managed to put all the little pieces together and finally launch my product! And only three days after launching day, I have already sold nearly twenty packets of crisps, thanks to the support of the localists!

pawsome crisps 3.jpg

My Pawsome Crisps are Peri Peri flavoured and they are simply irresistible! They’re crunchy, tempting and they’ve got quite a kick! The peri peri spices sprinkled over them give them a burnt orange colour and they smell PAWSOME! Even if you’re not a big fan of spicy food, you will surely fall in love with these delicious bites!

pawsome crisps 4.jpg

If any of you would like to try a pack of Pawsome Crisps, they are in store at Tip Top Bearwood, only £1 each! They are also available to order via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and they will be delivered to you. I will also be running my own booth at the Shireland Hall Summer Fair which will be selling Pawsome Crisps too. Always keep a sharp eye out for Pawsome Crisps!

Last but not least, I think that you should purchase my product because part of the profit that I earn from the crisps will be used for my own charity project. I will use it to buy food and distribute it to homeless people who are out on the streets. Most of us just pass by the people sitting on the sidewalk and don’t even notice them or feel pity for them. Well, my charity project will make sure that they feel wanted in this world and provide them with enough food. I’m not just saying that you all should buy it for no reason, I’m saying it so that TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

I hope you will all support me and try my Pawsome Crisps. I would really appreciate it if you would. Till we meet again!

The True Meaning of Eid

Salaam pawsome peeps!

WOW!!! Time flies without us even noticing! Ramadan is already stepping out from under the spotlight and Eid is just around the corner! 😀 Most people-especially lil’ kids-are looking forward to this very joyous occasion. Many people are hustling about making preparations for Eid such as what to wear, what food to cook, where to go and other stuff like that. But because people are too busy fussing about the preparations for Eid, they tend to forget that the peak of this blessed month is in the last 10 days. They don’t realise that they are missing out on the best part of Ramadan just because they are getting blinded by the excitement of Eid!

Instead of getting in high gear for the grand finale of this blessed month of Ramadan, many of us are too busy comparing the number of outfits they have between each other. When Eid comes, people go especially crazy when it comes to buying new clothes. They shop like there’s no tomorrow! They’re wasting money unnecessarily when they already have more than enough clothes to wear! Just because it’s Eid, people think that they NEED to buy new clothes in order to celebrate this big day. In fact, many are going off the rails because they feel the urge to show off to people so they can be better than others. However, I’m not saying that what they’re doing is totally and completely wrong, they obviously want to look good on the day. But, that’s still not the true meaning of Eid! It’s not what Islam teaches us! Our religion tells us to be modest at all times.

To relate to our subject, I would like to share a discussion that my family had recently. We were talking about the preparations for Eid. Mr Dad asked me,

“Do you need any new clothes for Eid, Pawsome Lion?”

Hearing this, I excitedly jumped up from where I was sitting and replied,

“Yes please! I definitely need some new outfits!”

Then, Mr Dad asked me again,

“Are you sure?”

So I thought carefully and finally answered,

“Hmm…No, actually I’m fine. I don’t need new ones. I’ve already got more than enough in my wardrobe!”

You must be wondering why I changed my mind in a matter of seconds. Well…the moment I said yes, Little Miss Diva repeated after me saying “Yes!” too, with Baby A tagging along. They didn’t even know what it meant but because they always look up to me, they copied me 100%! So when Mr Dad asked me a second time, my mind was racing. There was a voice in my head telling me to make a wise decision because I’ve got a huge responsibility to carry, setting a good example to my brother and sister. And anyway, I can always wear my best clothes from what I already have, not to waste money on clothes that I’m going to wear once or twice! We all should buy things only when we really need to.

Allow me to take you further down the road…THINK! Will you be happy parading around in your new outfit when you know that in another part of the world, someone less fortunate than you, who is cold and hungry, hasn’t even got a shelter to keep them safe let alone clothes? Now, will you still be selfish and have a cold heart, counting the number of outfits you wish to have on Eid? Or will you be grateful for what you already have and remember the true meaning of Eid? Your call! 😐

Now, I am pleading to all of you. Don’t burden your parents just because of some selfish excuse. Be kinder, help those in need, look at the people around you and ask them if they need help, if someone helps you, pay it forward, do all these things so TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! 💪 It is our duty as a human being to do it.

Moving on, in some countries, they practice giving money to children on Eid as a gift. For example, Malaysians call it Duit Raya. Now, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t give money but from what I have heard, I noticed that there are more negatives than positives on this tradition. Imagine that it’s Eid and you have two uncles in your family, Uncle X and Uncle Y. Uncle X gave £10 each to his nephews and nieces while Uncle Y gives only £1 each. Everyone will start to think that Uncle X is better than Uncle Y! Straight away, Uncle X has become everybody’s favourite. What everybody doesn’t realise is that Uncle X has billions of pounds in his savings account whereas Uncle Y has ZERO! What really counts is not the amount of money they gave away but the kindness and generosity that they intended. That is why we shouldn’t be judgemental. Always think further down the line, there might be some hidden reason behind one’s action!

Last but not least, I sincerely hope that this holy month of Ramadan will polish us to be a shining diamond! We can still celebrate Eid joyously and grandly but we do not have to show off our accessories or good looking clothes. Bear this in mind and everyone can live a happy life. Let’s all help each other to be a better person! Remember, the true meaning of Eid is to be modest and thankful for what we have and remember those in need!

Salaam!

“Modesty is something we should all have and hold on to. If we let go of it, our dignity will be no more and people will think of us as nothing but vain and selfish.”

A Sad Adios…😭

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye…

As most of you know, the school year is coming to end and the summer holidays are slowly approaching. Everyone’s waving goodbye to their teachers and classes and are anxiously waiting to meet their new class teachers when the three weeks of ‘transition’ come. Transition is a period of time when children can get to know their new teachers and classes.

It’s time to bid farewell to Hazel and greet my new Year 5 class which is Oak! My new teacher will be Miss Parker and the LSP (teaching assistant) is Mr Johnson. Miss Parker will be our teacher for the three weeks of transition only as a new teacher will be appointed in September. I can’t wait to meet her/him! Hopefully they’re just like Miss Javed!

Wednesday was Parent’s Day at SHP, the day everyone received their yearly reports. As usual, everyone was nervous about the grades that they would get-especially me! There was a tense atmosphere when my family and I entered the classroom. We were all waiting for the moment when Miss Javed handed over my report for the year…

Then, the results were revealed! My report was…OUTSTANDING!!!! WAHEY!! My grades in Literacy, Maths, Science, R.E (Religious Education), Learning Together and P.E were superlative! I really need to thank God that everything in my report was great! This achievement is not mine to claim! It belongs to everyone, my family, friends, teachers and all you PAWSOME peeps because everyone has been supporting me all along and helped me to gain this achievement!

IMG_1688.JPG

Of course, my report wouldn’t have been outstanding without the hard work of all the PAWSOME people in my life! I would like to thank each and every one of them!

  1. Thank you God for making this possible!
  2. Thank you Mrs Mom and Mr Dad for supporting me throughout my journey from Moseley (old school) to SHP!
  3. Thank you Little Miss Diva and Baby A for being the cutest brother and sister in the whole wide world!
  4. Thank you Dr Auntie for motivating me to do my best!
  5. Thank you Mr OCD Uncle for being such an inspirational uncle to me!
  6. Thank you Dadajee and Khun Yai Thi Rak Khong Phom for always building up my ideas!
  7. Thank you Miss Javed and Miss Hussain for being the greatest teachers I have ever met!
  8. Thank you Hazel class for always standing by my side!
  9. Thank you SHP for building me up from who I was in Moseley to who I am today!
  10. Last but not least, I would like to thank all of my family and friends, my blog readers, all of my supporters on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for always supporting and encouraging me!

I am not sharing my results so I can brag about it or anything like that, I am sharing them because I am hoping that I can inspire more people and show them that hard work really does pay off and if we work as one, TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! And don’t just do it for yourself:

  • Do it for God, who gave you a life, because He wants you to make a good use out of this precious dowry.
  • Do it for your mother, who carried you in her womb for nine months and brought you into this world, so you can make her proud.
  • Do it for your father, who works hard every day to ensure that you live a good life, so you can return the favour.
  • Do it for your teachers, who get through the headaches to make sure you have a high-level education, so you can thank them sincerely.
  • Do it for your brothers and sisters, who look up to you all the time, so you can become a perfect role model.
  • Do it for your friends, who stick with you in times of sorrow, so you can all succeed together.
  • Do it for the unfortunate people in this world, who manage to live in hunger and pain, so they can have a brighter future.
  • Do it for everyone, so TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

To end this emotional (😪) post, I would like to write a goodbye poem dedicated to Miss Javed and Miss Hussain!

A Sad Adios…

By The Pawsome Lion

You guided us through right from the start,

You loved us all with all your heart

You told us not to work for naught,

You taught us things that meant a lot

You never left us all alone

You made sure we didn’t break our bones

And though we’ve had our smiles and frowns,

We’ve turned the frowns upside down

That’s why I’m saying a sad adios

To two of my favourite amigos!

p/s: Adios Miss Javed and Miss Hussain! I wish you all the best for next year!

The One for Me!

to-a-great-dad.jpg

This post is dedicated to someone very special who has devoted their whole life to me. Of course, that person is no one other than…Mr Dad ! It was his birthday on Friday and I thought it would be a great idea to write a post just for him as a birthday present!

Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad, and that’s why Mr Dad is the one for me! He always stands out from the crowd. He is a loving and caring father and listens to everything I have to say. He also has a heart of gold! Mr Dad’s fun, has a sense of humour and he never fails to keep the whole family happy! He has taken good care of me ever since I was born and from then on, he has been like a friend! Every dad is special but my dad is different. That’s because he’s the one and only Mr Dad!

As a coincidence, Mr Dad’s birthday is also near the date of Father’s Day! Wow! This means that he’s going to get more presents than anyone in the world! And, it also means that I have time to give Mr Dad one more very extra-special present, his very own birthday poem! So, here goes!

My Father!

(By The Pawsome Lion)

My father is the greatest, he’s the one to beat!

Don’t mess with him because he’s as fit as an athlete!

My father can do anything, anything at all,

From cooking to cleaning to singing all day, and he’s CRAZY ’bout football!

My father is the best to me, he cannot be replaced,

If I stick with him then everything can be aced!

My father can be a busy bee

But get this, he’s still the one for me!

And when I think of him

This is what ‘FATHER’ means to me:

F   riendly

      A   lways caring

T   he best

H     elpful

         E   verlasting love

    R   ighteous

Before I go, there’s one more thing I would like to share with everyone. An EXCLUSIVE video of Mr Dad making pizzas! I guarantee that it’ll make you say “WOW!”. Here it is:

Once again, Happy Birthday and Father’s Day, Mr Dad! Hope you have a great 2 days! I’m sure you’ll enjoy everything from the cake to the presents!

p/s: Leave a comment if you do anything special for your father this Father’s Day!

School’s Here!!!

school.jpg

Wagwan pawsome peeps! Hope you’re doing well! As you all know, the Easter holidays have come to an end and it’s the start of a new school term. Since I haven’t written about school for quite a while now, I have decided to write a quick update about what’s going on at school.

As usual, I couldn’t wait to meet my PAWSOME Hazel class again on the first day back. Everyone was in a cheerful mood, especially the ROARSOME duo, Miss Javed and Miss Hussain!

natural-disasters

Since it was the start of a new term, we would be starting a new topic. Our topic for this term is all about Natural Disasters. This topic is jam-packed with lots of fun things to learn such as why earthquakes happen, what makes volcanos erupt, how tsunamis form and much more. And, we made great, enormous volcanos out of ordinary plastic bottles that were put on display. Some children also drew life-like pictures of natural disasters. From what I have seen, I guarantee that everyone will enjoy learning about this topic!

paint-splatter-wallpaper-8

Then, on Thursday, something special happened at school. It was…Arts Day! Arts Day is a day that is dedicated to art and design. Each Arts Day has a different theme each year. The theme for this Arts Day was portraits! As usual, there was task for us to complete. We had to create a portrait, collage or sculpture of someone who inspires us the most. Being the typical me, I’m always ready to take on the challenge! So, I made piece of artwork with both me and Mr Dad in it. As part of the artwork, I also created a quote related to father and son. It was:

“My father is the greatest father anyone could have. He gives me love, guidance and he always believes in me.

But the best gift he gave me was teaching me how to spread my wings and fly!”

animaatjes-graffiti-51227

I presented my artwork in a HUGE frame that looked like a film strip. And like I always say, even if I don’t win, I still tried my best! As a treat, a graffiti artist came visited us and explained to us what graffiti is! He also wrote the school’s initials in graffiti style writing and showed us some of the techniques that are used in graffiti art. The finishing product looked AA-mazing!  The graffiti art was going to be in the middle of our arts display once the portraits that we made at school were finished.

rainbow

Each year group was also asked to wear a certain colour on that day. This was all part of a school arts piece that we made. Year 4 was asked to wear a blue shirt or dress. Miss Javed and Miss Hussain were both wearing blue tops, blue trousers and even blue hair extensions! For once, they actually looked like twins! When all of the year groups were sitting together, the colours of our clothes made a magnificent rainbow if it was seen from above. Some of the teachers took photos of us and we all can’t wait to see them!

handwriting

Me and Nimat have also started our very own Handwriting Club! Our aim is to help children develop their handwriting so they have a better chance of earning a pen licence in the future. There are currently 5 children attending the club. From time to time, we also ask some other children to help us run the Handwriting Club because these children can be a handful (if you know what I mean)! At the moment, the club is for Year 2 children and is held three times a week. The club has been going on for more than two months now. We are also hoping to open up to other year groups over time.

drama

There is also some other news that I would like to share with you guys. I have finally got a place in Drama Club! As the name states, this is a club where we act out plays and movies. It is run by Mr Ball, a class teacher in Year 5. The play that we are currently practising is called A Midsummer Night’s Dream written by the well-known William Shakespeare. Surprisingly, I got the lead male role called Lysander! As a coincidence, Nimat is also in Drama Club! She plays the role of the Fairy. Rehearsals are held every Monday after school and Thursday at lunchtime. The actual play will be held in June and we are all very excited about it.

welcome

Last but not least, I would like to welcome a new student that has recently joined us. His name is Furqan! It has been around two weeks since he started at our school and has settled in really well. Welcome to Shireland Hall Primary Academy, Furqan! I hope you enjoy your time with us!

I’m afraid that I’ll have to end the post here, guys. But, keep your eyes peeled for the next update about another special day that I’ll be writing shortly! Till we meet again, ciao everybody!

ciao new

P/S: I’m feeling a bit under the weather so it looks like no school for The Pawsome Lion tomorrow, which is like the end of the world for me!

The Action is Back!!!

imback

Hey all you pawsome peeps! It’s me! The Pawsome Lion is back! Where have all of you guys been? Hopefully you’ve all been doing OK! I’m sorry to keep you waiting for a VERY long time. I have been extremely busy at school with a lot of things. But, I’ve come back and I’ve come back for good now!

heart_sacrifice_by_nikki_66-d4w5k3d

Since the start of 2016, Mr Dad has been busy doing a ton of work. Mrs Mom hasn’t been feeling well lately and I myself has been busy with Keyboard Club, the new Handwriting Club that I teach with Nimah and with the new Drama Club that I recently joined! Because Mr Dad has a tight schedule and Mrs Mom hasn’t been feeling well, I have been helping them around the house and to babysit Little Miss Diva and Baby A. But, I have finally found some spare time to write a quick update on my blog to tell you guys how I’m getting on! Mrs Mom and I have also been working on a time schedule so I have enough time to post something on my blog. Also, today is the first day of Spring! Yay!!! 😀 It’s all sunny days and happiness, until Winter comes again!

Oh well, that’s all for today’s post! I hope you all have a superb week! Till we meet again, adios amigos!

🌟🌟A Wonderful Week!🌟🌟

wonderfulweek.gif

Howdy pawsome peeps! Today, I’ll tell you about this week and how it has been. I hope you will enjoy it. So, without further ado, let’s get recounting!

under the weather

At the start of this week, I was feeling under the weather. In that case, I couldn’t go to school for TWO WHOLE DAYS!!! And we all know that if I miss school, it will be like the end of the world, especially missing two days of school! I was even crying on the second day! But, the upside of staying at home was that I got to spend time with Little Miss Diva and Baby A. XD

Then, on Wednesday, I finally went to school! I had been waiting for the day I could go back to school and meet all of my friends. On that day, it was our FLIP Workshop. A FLIP Workshop is when parents come to their child’s/children’s school, ascertain what they are learning and find out mental and written methods in Maths, Literacy or any other subject.

In this particular FLIP Workshop, we were learning a new mental strategy for adding and subtracting. If you want to add, you would have to first partition both numbers (the number you’re going to be adding to and the number you will be adding). After that, you add the hundreds together (depending on what number you have), the tens together and the units together. Once you have done that, you need to recombine all of your answers together. If you are subtracting, it’s pretty much the same as adding. But, this time, you only partition one number, which is the number you are going to subtract from.

When we were finished with the FLIP Workshop, we started our Literacy lesson. In Literacy, we were going to look at non-chronological reports. A non-chronological report is a report that does not have to be in time order. If it is a chronological report, it is just the opposite. Since we were learning about Madagascar in Literacy, we were looking at non-chronological reports about Madagascan animals. There was a hippo, a lion, a zebra, a giraffe, a lemur and many more. After that, we carried on with the school day.

snowing

The next day, I woke up with the most wonderful surprise. It was 2016’s first snowfall! ❄️ I looked at it in awe for a while. Then, I quickly got ready for school and jumped inside Mr  Dad’s car. It was SOOO cold, even inside the car! When I arrived at school, there was snow everywhere! Unfortunately, the snow melted completely when all of us went outside. 😦 But, we still enjoyed it while it lasted!

lion sketched.jpg

We also did Literacy and Maths too. Then, two things that were really exciting happened in the afternoon! First, we did some sketching! We sketched a PAWSOME lion with the whole class. Miss Javed sketched one too and it looked beautiful! If you want to do some sketching, here’s the website where you can get step-by-step instructions:

http://www.howtodrawanimals.net

the animal man-178x174

Finally, the highlight of the afternoon came. We went to see…an animal man!!!!! Because we are learning about the Amazon Rainforest and Madagascar, the animal man brought a large range of interesting animals for us to look at and touch.

cockroach

When we all finished our sketching, we quickly lined up and went down to the media suite where we would find the animal man. Inside the media suite, we found him sitting on a chair surrounded with lots of animals. He then introduced himself and brought out the first animal! It was (drum roll please!)…Madagascan hissing cockroaches!!! I was shaking and trembling when the animal man took the cockroaches out. Then, with no warning whatsoever, he threw a cockroach into someone’s lap and we were all screaming and shouting! 😲 Finally, the torture was over after he put the cockroaches back in their box.

bearded dragon and gecko

After the cockroaches, the man brought out a bearded dragon and a cute lil’ gecko! We weren’t allowed to touch the gecko but we could all touch the fierce looking bearded dragon. Both of the animals stared at us as we touched them and looked at them. I guess they were really interested in us! 😛

albino-african-pygmy-hedge

The next animal to come out was the one and only Ella, the Albino pygmy hedgehog! The animal man told us Ella was blind and she could only rely on her sense of smell and hearing. So, it was very important that we didn’t scare her. He then brought Ella around so we could pet her. When it was my go, I saw that Ella had big, shiny, red eyes that stood out from her face.

albino skunk

Then, the man brought out the stinkiest animal of them all. Can you guess? Yes, that’s right! It was a stinky, smelly,  silly old Albino skunk! We found out that the skunk had been rolling around in urine and he made himself turn yellow because of that! This time, we all nervously touched the skunk, thinking that he might spray on us any moment. The animal man told us not to worry and to buy tomato juice to get rid of the smell!

Barn_owl

Next came the elegant barn owl, which has 14 neck bones! A barn owl has a great sense of hearing. It’s better than a human’s sense of hearing! Once again, the animal man took the barn owl and brought it around so we could stroke it. It definitely wanted to get off the man’s hand now and explore. And so, the animal man let him fly freely. But, he decided to sit on the interactive whiteboard and watch TV! XD

ball python

Last but not least, the animal man brought out the greatest animal of all, the fantastic Ball Python! The Ball Python felt scaly, cold and was deadly. Miss Javed actually put the python around her neck and took a selfie with it! What a great idea! The python was also attracted to the iPad and it didn’t move. When we were lining up, we got the chance to feel the python as we went out. Phew! That was over now!

Finally, we move on to Friday! Friday was a normal school day. The only thing that brightened up the day (or made the day colder) was more snow! We did Literacy, Maths and whatnot. Then, we went to have our P.E lesson, as we normally do on Mondays and Fridays.

coffee grinder

In P.E, we were doing break dancing and were focusing on floor moves. In this particular lesson, we were learning how to do the Coffee Grinder first! I know what you’re thinking! Coffee Grinder? What in the world of The Pawsome Lion is that? Well, it’s quite easy to do. First, get into a cannonball position but with your hands out in front of you on the floor. Next, put your left foot out and bring it under your hands to the other side. When you’re in that position, jump over your left foot with your right foot and you should be back in the second position! There you go! Here is a video for more information that you might need:

6 step

The next move that we learned was the 6 Step! As it says in the name, this break dancing move has 6 steps. In that case, I will not list the instructions down coz it’s super hard! Anyway, it’s really cool if you know how to do it and if you take it slow, you will master it in no time! For the instructions, here is a video for you containing all the information you need:

giraffe sketched

After P.E, we went to lunch. When lunch was finished, we came back to class, did the register and started another calming session of sketching. This time, we sketched a realistic giraffe. We added some spots and a nice scenery in the background. In my picture, I also put in some falling leaves and the giraffe’s shadow as some additional details.

luxuriate

Then, when we finished our sketching, we all went home to start our luxuriating weekends…

Well, that’s it for this week! I hope that you have enjoyed the weekends too! Until next time, tạm biệt!

Goodbye 2015…Hello 2016!

Life-Is-A-Roller-Coaster-With-Highs-And-Lows

My family’s life has been a long rollercoaster ride since 2013! It all started when Mrs Mom got so ill that she had to give up her job. Both me and Mr Dad witnessed how hard it was for her to let go of all the years of her hard work. I can still picture the solemn look on her face when it was her last day. As she was leaving her office, I don’t know how it got out of me but I turned around and said to her, “Don’t worry Mrs Mom! Try and look at it from the brighter side! At least you can spend more time with the family and cook us lots of tastylicious food every day!”

flower.jpg

As we bid farewell to 2013, we were hoping that 2014 would be a better year for all of us. But, it got worse towards the end of 2014 when this time, Mr Dad got extremely ill. Well, we don’t notice it but time flies and we didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye to 2014 and we had to welcome 2015 in sorrow.

We kicked off the year of 2015 with a big turn in our life. We had to leave the house we called ‘home’ for more than 10 years! That means that I too had to leave all of my beloved friends and school behind. Just imagine a new house, new neighbourhood, new environment, new school, new friends, new teachers and new everything! But, that’s life! It needs a lot of sacrifices! Like how Mrs Mom sacrificed her job and all those sacrifices Mr Dad made for all of us, the same way, I had to sacrifice my friends and school.

Although 2015 didn’t start very well, things have finally caught up. We might not always know what God has in store for us! One thing for sure is that He always rewards you when you are patient! For my family, the greatest highlight of 2014 would definitely be the new addition to our family which was the arrival of Little Miss Diva! Then, we were blessed once again by the latest addition in our family, the arrival of Baby A in 2015! No matter how big the obstacles we had to face were, God never failed to treat us, just like how He sent Little Miss Diva and Baby A into our lives!

Life is like a wheel, sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down! You can dream big but never put your expectations too high! Sometimes in life, you do need to sacrifice something for the sake of your family! No matter what, as long as we stick together as a family, nothing can ever bring us down! We should never feel hopeless because difficult times always lead to better days. EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING!

Today, I am glad that Mrs Mom decided to leave her job because it surely paid off. With her experience and expertise, she has opened up a lot of new doors for me! We definitely make a good team because when we put our heads together, we could definitely rock the world! 😀 I’m also glad that we’ve all supported Mr Dad’s decision of moving to a new place because it has brought us more opportunities and it’s just getting better and better. Last but not least, my sacrificed has also turned out to be fruitful because I am enjoying my new school and it has been pretty remarkable so far packed with excellent achievements! It seems like God has planned everything perfectly for all of us!!

As I’m writing, it’s exactly 10 more minutes till I have to wave goodbye to 2015 and say hello to 2016! Thank you 2015 for all the challenges that have made me grow wiser. I am looking forward to face 2016! Maybe it might be a year filled with brilliant surprises! Who knows? We’ll just have to wait and see… Thank you to all my family and friends that have helped make my life worth living!! Without all of you, I wouldn’t be The Pawsome Lion!!!

Happy 1 Month-aversary!

Hey pawsome peeps! I know that I said that I won’t be posting anything for a few days but I just realised that it’s already been a month since I have started blogging (Whew, time goes so fast, doesn’t it?).

I can still remember sitting down with Mrs Mom brainstorming the identity for my new project as if it was only yesterday! After that, we both went through the registration for my own email account, this blog, my own Facebook page, Twitter and also Instagram. I know it’s only been a month but my schedule has changed a lot since I started blogging. To be fair, not only mine, but also Mrs Mom’s, Little Miss Diva’s and Baby A’s too! The level of commitment was so high but I didn’t mind it at all because I’ve witnessed how much time Mrs Mom had sacrificed for me. Mr Dad has also contributed a lot to help make this happen! Thinking of all those sacrifices that were made, I promise myself that I will work harder to drive my blog along the road to success!

So far, I’ve written 26 posts since 2nd November. Wow!!! That’s a lot for 29 days. I should give myself a pat on my back. 🙂 I hope that I can always maintain this level of commitment. Up until now, there were 788 visitors and 2,700 views on my blog. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I checked the statistics on my blog last night! I found out that there are visitors from 15 different countries which have visited my blog till date. They are from:

  1. United Kingdom
  2. Malaysia
  3. Poland
  4. Singapore
  5. United States
  6. Qatar
  7. Bulgaria
  8. Hong Kong SAR China
  9. Indonesia
  10. Australia
  11. Netherlands
  12. Japan
  13. Thailand
  14. Italy
  15. Germany

Now, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have visited my blog and read my pieces of work. I might not know all of you but I can assure you that I am so grateful and honoured to know that people from different parts of the world have spared their precious time to read my humble blog. It’s the greatest feeling that anyone can have!

I would especially like to thank Mr Dad for always believing in me and also to Mrs Mom for all her continuous support and hard work juggling around the house to help make my dreams come true! And how could I ever forget my biggest fans, Little Miss Diva and Baby A! They have been loyal readers of my blog. Every morning, Mrs Mom has to read out my blog to both of them while they sit quietly listening to the posts until she finishes. Little Miss Diva also enjoys looking at all those pictures. It was definitely worth every single bit of effort that I’ve made.

Lots of thank you’s also go to my mentor, Dr. Auntie, who has given me lots of feedback on my writing. Another thank you to Mr OCD Uncle who has always motivated me to do more in life! And of course my next thank you goes to my best buddy, Dadajee (my grandpa)! No one could have supported me the way you did, Dada!! The next people in the line would be Khun Yai Thi Rak Khong Phom (my beloved grandma), my Auntie Kawaii and family, plus my Uncle Pawsome and family for the greatest support ever!!!

Not to forget all the support from Mr Dad’s side of the family too! Thank you Atuk (my paternal grandpa), Anek (my paternal grandma), my uncles, aunties and cousins for your kind support. I really appreciate it!

This next special thank you is dedicated to someone close to my heart, Unclejee. Thank you for all those time you spared to read my writing. Thank you for all those comments you’ve made.Thank you for all the encouragement, positive feedback, text messages and a gazillion other things. Words can’t express how much I appreciate it. Even though we’ve never met, it seems like we’ve got a very strong connection with each other.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my siblings in Hazel. You have been so supportive and also loyal readers of my blog. I could never have done it without all your support. Special thanks to Miss Javed and Miss Hussain. You are both AMAZING!!! 😀

And of course my next thank you would be to all my pawsome teachers and friends in Shireland who have been supporting me as I go along the path to success. Thank you Mr Shephard for all the recognition. I really appreciate it! Thank you Miss Prince for all the appreciation. Thank you Mrs Hussain for being a fan of my story. Thank you my best friend Nimah for being my loyal reader.

This last thank you is for someone very important. I put her last not because she’s least special but because she’s the reason why I am who I am today. Thank you Mrs Lawrence for all your guidance and appreciation. You have spotted my talent from the very beginning and has always believe that I could do more and more. I may have been 5 years old at that time. But, Mrs Mom would never let me forget all the hard work you’ve put into me. If you are reading this, please know that I will never forget you, ever!!!

Now, hold your horses coz all of you PAWSOME peeps have been so AWESOME and have been leaving MORESOME comments. That makes all of you ROARSOME!!!!! So again, a big fat THANK YOU to everyone for supporting me. Happy 1 Month-aversary!

“We must always appreciate all the support that people have given us at any time. It is just like respect!”
